An upcycled jacket made from an old Griz blanket!
After a really long and draining year (2025), I finally had a little time off and decided to take the rest of this @griz blanket I had turned into a hoodie, and make it into something new :)
With no plan, I just got to cutting and kept throwing things together until this beautiful jacket came to life. It was such a pleasure to make something just for the fun of it instead of for a project that’s been in the works. Call it freestyle improv.
Incredibly grateful to this human Danny for naming his own price and offering me $500 for this. I told him to make me an offer and he really took one look at it and said “this is what that’s worth”
It truly is such a rewarding feeling to see people rocking with the art I make. I’m so glad I decided to pick up a sewing machine and decide I wanted to learn how to use it all those months ago. To think in just a little over a year I’ve grown to this level is kinda insane.
If you feel a calling, FOLLOW it. Your intuition knows things your current self has no idea about. Creating is not reserved for a select few. If you have a vision, you can bring it to life. It doesn’t matter what roadblocks exist, if you have the will, you’ll find a way 😌🧡
