OfTheTrees: Camp Alderwild Denim Jacket
This jack was made to be an integral part of my first ever Environmental Advocacy Booth at OftheTrees Camp Alderwild music festival in Telluride, CO.
In my booth, I was selling a collection of my clothing to fundraise for The Nature Conservancy’s Colorado River Endangered Fish Restoration Initiative. In addition to the 50% of all my sales, I created this jacket as a VIP auction item, and ran a silent auction bidding sheet throughout the weekend. At the close, my jacket had reached $325, marking the most expensive sale I’ve made yet, and even better to do so in support of such important work.
I chose this program to divert funds to after my consult call with the headlining artist, OftheTrees, and was able to hear from his team what environmental causes he felt really passionate about and alligned with. With his recent love for fishing developing, we chose this program, and I am extremely proud to announce that we raised ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS total.
I’m endlessly grateful to the Alderwild community for showing up with such generosity, proving that music and creativity can fuel real environmental conservation wins.
